Kathleen Henson
Kathleen Henson was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and started her church music career at the age of 9 behind a piano playing for services and chapel at Nativity of Mary in Bloomington, Minnesota. Her love of music writing manifested itself at an early age. With the guidance of her music teachers she entered into the Minnesota State Competition at age 16, where she won second place with her composition "Edge of Silence."

Throughout the years she has accompanied many singers and choirs and has played at such venues as Orchestra Hall and Ordway Theatre as well as local venues, concerts, and music theaters. Her influences include classical composers as well as contemporary Christian composers.
Today you will still find her behind the piano, as a composer, accompanist, vocal
coach, and choral director for many local choral groups, churches, and ensembles in the Twin Cities area
